May 25, 2009 (Monday): Stony Point Memorial Day Parade. The parade will form at the First Methodist Church Church at 8:30 AM. The Stony Point SAR, together with their Color Guard is expected to march with the parade. Parade was cancelled because the bridge on RT 9W was being repaired, and it was on the parade route.
May 31, 2009 (Sunday): Community Day at the Bowline Park, Haverstraw, NY from 9 AM to 12 Noon. The Stony Point SAR has been requested to attend (in uniform if possible) and set up a display table.

June 13, 2009 (Saturday): Flag Retirement Ceremony to be held at the Stony Point Battelefield from 10;45 AM to Noon. This event will be hosted jointly by the Shatemuc Chapter 1-149 of the DAR, and the Stony Point Chapter of the SAR, and will be supprted by the Children of the AAmerican Revolution and Junior ROTC Units.

June 24, 2009 (Wednesday): An SAR day trip and guided tour of Knox's Headquarters and the New Windsor Cantonment in the morning, a leisurely lunch (location to be decided on by the group), and an afternoon guided tour of the National Purple Heart Museum.
The group will assembe at 8:45 AM at RHO Cottage, and will car-pool to and from New Windsor, and will return about 4-5 PM. Knox's HQs will be first on the tour - starting at 10 AM, then the Cantonment at 11 AM, and after lunch, the National Purple Heart Museum at 2 PM.
There is a fee of $6.00 each for the tours.

July 18, 2009 (Saturday): Dedication of the Waldron Cemetery, Stony Point, NY beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a re-inactment of the Storming of the Stony Point Battlefield at 11 AM.
